It seems like every ward along the Wasatch Front cancelled church today…BUT MINE! The roads have not yet been plowed and they are scary, but we walk to church so we don’t have that excuse. Here’s Charley as we were getting her ready to go to church this morning. Her hair turned out really cute!
The snow has been CRAZY here. Weber State cancelled all classes on Friday. I was so excited I felt like a kid again, and am hoping for another snow day tomorrow. The forcasts look like the snow should keep up like this through the night. What a winter. Will it every melt away??
We have had another 6 inches since these pics this morning. ![]()
Hope you all are well and safe and having a good Sunday. Amy
P.S. Mom and Dad have booked their reservations for Hawaii!! They are staying in the Whaler’s Condo’s really close to the Westin!!

We have been getting an unusual amount of snow lately. Kelton likes it because they either delay school 2 hours or cancel it altogether. Rachael loves playing in the snow, she was the first to build her little snowman. (I hope I get the kitchen spoons back) Dustin loves the snow! He was so mad that I made him stand still for this picture, he was to busy “helping” finish the snowman to be bothered with looking at a camera and smiling. I love the snow, I love how it weighs down the trees and shimmers in the light. This week I am very grateful for a warm house and 4-wheel drive!
Hope everyone is having a fun weekend!

Ben’s Annual Contribution to the Family Blog . . .

Following April’s last entry, here’s what I’m up to these days:
What I’m reading:

Confession: I got about half way through this book last year before putting it down for several months. Now I have to start over. It’s very dense with tons of footnotes, endnotes, geneologies, etc. Hopefully I’ll make it through this time.
What I’m listening to:
What I’m working on (being as cool as this guy):
Actually, I was contacted this week about the possibility of working with a Chinese developer on some proejcts in California and Shanghai, so I hope something pans out. Right now, however, I’m just looking forward to a relaxing weekend.

I heard somewhere that you can pay to have your blog recorded on disk. I plan to look into this because I have been using this blog as a kind of journal. We are told that journal keeping is important and I really do want to have a record of our family as we grow. Here is what my life is like today:

What are you doing these days? I want to hear from everyone. I’ll even try to get the elusive Benjamin to post.
